We work hard to get your puppy to you with the least amount of stress for the puppy and for you. We ship by Air and by Ground Carriers.
We have been shipping dogs both nationally and internationally for many years. Puppies need to be at least 8 weeks of age in order to fly on commercial airlines.
There are temperature restrictions for most airline carriers. They will not accept dogs if the air temperature is above 85 degrees or below 20 degrees. Continental Airlines is the only airlines at the moment who does not have these restrictions as they have separate transport for the dogs from the cargo facilities to the airplane. They do not leave them on the tarmack with the baggage. Delta has also opened up some routes that are not related to temperature restrictions.
Here is how air transport basically works: .The cost of shipping is related to the weight and/or the size of the crate that the pup is shipping in. This cost does fluctuates as jet fuel rises and falls.
The average price to ship a puppy which includes the crate which is yours to keep is $250.00
Ground Shipping
We do have ground transport available to selected areas. One transporter leaves Little Rock and travels along I-40 to I-81. She proceeds up I-81 as far as Rhode Island. She has designated stops along the way. This trip is made approximately every 2 weeks starting on a Monday
The puppies travel in an RV in individual crates and get great care. Betty is a great dog person and we have had nothing but great reviews from the folks whose puppy travelled with her.
The cost of shipping puppies this way is $200.00
I have also had really good luck meeting some transporters from uship.com. Steve is located in Iowa and travels the midwest from Texas to points around Iowas. His prices are reasonable and his service is great. He picks the pup up at my house and delivers him to your house. The puppies and dogs that I have shipped with him arrive in perfect shape. Steve's price varies depending on how close you live to the route he is traveling that week.
Pickup by New Owners at the Ranch
Absolutely the best option. We have many new owners who come and pick up their pups. Some with even take another pup back with them for another new owner who lives near to them. If I can, I will try and arrange my schedule to meet someone so that they can pick up their pup. We travel showing Cutting Horses so I carry alot of pups to Texas and Louisiana for pick up.
The bottom line: I will work with you to get your pup delivered safely in a timely manner.
