We believe that the food that your puppy and its Mom eats will impact its health both now in and the future.

We only feed 5 and 6 Star Dogs foods such as Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul, Canidae for All Life Stages, Taste of the Wild and Wellness.  In addition, we feed raw organic hamburger to our dogs at least 3 to 4 times a week and provide raw bones.

We highly recommend that you search for top level dog feeds to feed your dogs and new puppies. Dog Food Analysis is one website which rates dog foods.

We do not recommend Science Diet, Iams, Purina Puppy, Pedigree or most of the brands available in the grocery and feed stores. High price and name recognition is not a guarantee that the feed is a quality product.  

We avoid any dog food that has corn, wheat gluten or other grain products as ingredients.

I can tell you amazing stories about how the health of dogs have changed when their diet improved. Skin problems have disappears, dogs without any energy have returned to a life of fun and energy, crippled dogs have regained their ability to move and dogs that were picky eaters became normal eaters. 

The stories are amazing.  Even more amazing to me is the reality that money is more important than the health of our dogs to the producers of so many dog food companies.  Dumb me - after the reality of 2008 I should realize that greed is more important than anything. 

Interestingly enough, many of the 5 and 6 Star Dog foods are not much if any more expensive than the dog foods which are slowly killing and crippling our dogs.
